Arramara Teoranta has been involved in the production of quality dried seaweed since 1947. The company provides product for the alginate, animal feed supplement and soil enhancement sectors.
Using seaweed from seashore classified as Class A by the Marine Institute of Ireland, harvested by experienced personnel, closely supervised by company inspectors and processed in a state of the art facility, we can safely guarantee a product of the highest quality and consistency.
Ascophyllum nodosum, the seaweed used, is produced on the seashore by the Atlantic Ocean.
It can truly be described as an organic product.
In respect for its purity, we are committed to providing all necessary resources to ensure its goodness is retained within the final product.
As part of honouring this commitment, a HACCP based QA System has been developed and installed, in addition to the provision of all required resources to support this QA System.
It is our intention to regularly review our QA System, to ensure it retains its ability to provide product of the highest quality and consistency.
